| Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. Orders will be considered valid at the point of verbal agreement on the telephone or when the order is placed electronically via our secure server. We do however reserve the right to cancel any order by phone email or letter and arrange for a full refund within one working day (Monday -Friday)in the unususual situation of not being able to fulfil the order for whatever reason. It is stressed that every effort of course is made to fulfil and deliver customer orders and any estimations of delivery dates as shown on this site are based on current conditions. Occasionally an appliance may take longer to be delivered to us. In this instance the customer is offered the choice to wait or to select an altenative appliance. |
| Delivery Schedule Delivery is mormally 7-10 days from the date of order, items delivered from stock will be dispatched immediately. you will be advised of the delivery date via email. Delivery is undertaken by a freight company who only delivery to the GROUND FLOOR using a One man crew with a sack barrow. They will only place inside your front door, as they are not insured for damage once they are inside your house. If the goods need to be taken upstairs, it is solely at the discretion of the delivery driver. You would have been informed of the delivery date by the freight company and if delivery is up stairs (subject to drivers discretion), then you must arrange for help to be there on the day of delivery. When we arrange a date for you delivery, all deliveries on that date are between 9-5.30pm Monday Saturday. After an order is placed on line or by phone it will be processed quickly to ensure delivery times are kept to the minimum. As a company we hold a huge number of appliances in stock at all times ready to be be despatched as soon as possible. Appliances may be delivered in our own vans or by a freight company. Alternatively the manufacturers may be instructed as our agents. Customers should expect delivery within two weeks. For more accurate information please email us on sales@CNMDirect.co.uk. Should deliveries fail, which are not the fault of CNM Domestic Appliances, ie. as a result of aborted deliveries through unadvised difficult access or customer absence, then we reserve the right to add a reasonable fee to cover our additional costs for re-delivery. Products must be able to pass through any doorways in their packing(excepting American Fridge Freezers) which is up to the customer to check. We also ask that customers unbox and check appliances thoroughly upon delivery. The appliance can then be refused as damaged and a replacement arranged as quickly as we can. In the case of not being able to check the appliances for any damage the delivery note MUST be signed "UNCHECKED" before signing. All damages MUST be reported to us within 14 days of receipt. A replacement appliance will then be arranged. If the appliance is out of stock or needs to be sourced directly from the manufacturer then it will take as long to re-deliver as a new order. |

| Guarantee Individual products may be the subject of warranties or guarantees given by the manufacturers directly. Such guarantees are not enforceable against CNM Domestic Appliances only to the manufacturer providing them. It is a condition that customers read and observe the instruction manual(s) and literature provided and follow the necessary instructions for installation and use. Liability for the failure of products is also restricted to the repair or replacement of the appliance. Any claim for loss of food or other consequential loss suffered through such a failure is not the responsiblity of CNM Domestic Appliances. Some such claims however can be made direct to the manufacturers who will deal with each claim on its individual merits. |

| Returns Policy For your protection, this website is intended to be fully compliant with the consumer protection (distance selling) regulations 2000. As such, a cooling-off period of seven working days (Monday-Saturday) is allowed for all customers who have purchased a product from us without first viewing the appliance at one of our salesrooms or warehouses. Written, faxed or emailed correspondence must be received by us in this time. Reliance on a telephone conversation is not sufficient. Please refer to your local trading standards office for full details of the regulations but briefly, items can be returned to us under this legislation if the post and packing is paid for by the customer. Confirmation of the appliance being in perfect condition by the courier company selected is required. Products returned to us in a damaged condition (not caused by transportation) will either be returned at the customer's expense or sold through one of our stores at a reduced price. If this latter option is agreed then it follows that any refund must be witheld until the sale to the third party is made and the correct sum is then able to be calculated. It is also mentioned that all customers should retain the original packaging for the cooling-off period, to enable the item to be returned to us in saleable condition. These regulations only apply to unused goods. general limitations and liability All terms of trading are governed by the laws of England and Wales. All parties are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
